Young Chefs: Cooking Around the World Week B

WE STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT CAMPERS INTERESTED IN THIS CAMP TAKE THE INTRODUCTION TO CULINARY ARTS CAMP BEFORE ENROLLING

Pack your bags and grab your apron! Our Cooking Around the World Summer Camp invites young chefs ages 11–14 on a hands-on culinary journey across the globe. This exciting camp introduces students to international cuisines while building essential cooking skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in the kitchen.

Throughout the week, campers will explore flavors and techniques from a variety of regions, preparing dishes inspired by cuisines such as Italian, French, Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean, and more. Along the way, students will learn fundamental cooking methods, knife skills, seasoning techniques, and kitchen organization while discovering how geography, culture, and ingredients influence food traditions around the world.

Campers will work both independently and in collaborative teams to create savory dishes and desserts, experiment with spices and global flavor profiles, and practice thoughtful food presentation. Emphasis is placed on kitchen safety, teamwork, creativity, and curiosity—encouraging students to step outside their comfort zone and try new foods.

By the end of camp, participants will have expanded their culinary skills, explored diverse cultures through food, and taken home delicious creations—along with a broader palate and a deeper appreciation for global cuisine.

Camp Start Date: Monday July 27th through Friday July 31st 

Drop Off: 9:00 am – 9:15 am                                                   
Morning Kitchen Session: 9:15 am – 12:00 pm                        
Lunch: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm                                                     
Afternoon Kitchen Session: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm                        
Pick Up: 3:15 pm – 3:30 pm

Required Tool Kit
Campers are required to provide their own tool kits for each day of camp – these kits can either be purchased for an additional fee at the time of registration or created out of items from your home kitchen.
