Introduction to Pastry Arts Camp

Calling all young bakers! Our Baking & Pastry Summer Camp is a hands-on, creative experience designed for ages 11–14 who love to mix, whisk, and bake. Campers will learn the fundamentals of baking and pastry arts while having fun in a supportive, kitchen-safe environment.

Throughout the week, students will explore essential baking techniques such as measuring, mixing, proofing, and decorating. They’ll create a variety of sweet and savory treats—including cookies, cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts—while learning how ingredients work together and how to follow recipes with confidence.

Campers will also dive into pastry skills like piping, basic cake decorating, dough shaping, and presentation. Emphasis is placed on kitchen safety, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving, helping young chefs build confidence both in and out of the kitchen.

By the end of camp, each participant will have sharpened their baking skills, discovered new flavors, and proudly taken home their delicious creations—along with a love for baking that will last all summer long.

Camp Start Date: Monday July 27th through Friday July 31st

Drop Off: 9:00 am – 9:15 am                                                   
Morning Kitchen Session: 9:15 am – 12:00 pm                        
Lunch: 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm                                                     
Afternoon Kitchen Session: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm                        
Pick Up: 3:15 pm – 3:30 pm

Required Tool Kit
Campers are required to provide their own tool kits for each day of camp – these kits can either be purchased for an additional fee at the time of registration or created out of items from your home kitchen. Building your own kit? Refer to the list at the end of this packet for which tool kit is required for which camp.
